How to get to Cala Vedella

Getting to Cala Vedella is relatively easy, making it a very accessible option for any type of traveler in Ibiza. We always recommend renting a car to have total freedom of movement on the island, but there are also other options.

By car

From Ibiza town, the journey takes about 25-30 minutes by car. We must take the road towards San José (Sant Josep de sa Talaia) and, once there, follow the signs to Cala Vedella. The signage is clear and easy to follow. The best part is that the beach has a relatively large parking lot right next to it, although in high season (July and August) it can fill up quickly, so we advise arriving early. There are also areas where you can park for free in the surroundings, although it sometimes involves a few minutes' walk.

By bus

During the summer months, there are bus lines connecting Cala Vedella with San José and Ibiza town, as well as other nearby towns. It is an economical and sustainable option, although the schedules may be less flexible. It is important to check the updated routes and frequencies on the Ibiza public transport website (IbizaBus).

By taxi or VTC

It is always a comfortable option, especially if we are in a group or don't want to worry about parking. The price will vary depending on the distance, but from Ibiza town it can be around 30-40 euros, depending on the time of day and demand.
