How to Get to Cala Clara

Getting to Cala Clara is part of the adventure and, fortunately, it's not a complicated task. This charming cove is located in Cala Sant Vicenç, a small tourist area belonging to the municipality of Pollença. The most comfortable way to access it is undoubtedly by car. From Palma de Mallorca, the journey takes approximately one hour, following the MA-13 towards Inca and then the MA-2200 towards Pollença and finally the MA-2201 towards Cala Sant Vicenç.

Car Access and Parking

Once we arrive at Cala Sant Vicenç, we'll find signage guiding us to the different coves. Cala Clara is one of the four coves that make up this enclave (along with Cala Barques, Cala Molins, and Cala Carbó). Parking is not directly on the sand, but in the vicinity. There are public parking areas on the streets near the coves of Cala Sant Vicenç, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, so we recommend arriving early. From the parking area, a short walk will take us directly to the sand of Cala Clara.

Public Transport

For those who prefer not to drive, there are public transport options. During the summer months, several bus lines connect Pollença and Port de Pollença with Cala Sant Vicenç. From Palma, you can take a bus to Pollença and then transfer. Although it's a slower option, it allows you to enjoy the scenery without worries. The nearest bus stop will leave us a short distance from the coves, from where we can walk to Cala Clara.

The Sand and Water

The first thing that captivates us when stepping onto Cala Clara is the quality of its sand and the impressive clarity of its waters. The sand here is fine and golden, incredibly soft underfoot, making it perfect for walking barefoot or for the little ones to play building sandcastles.
