How to Get to Playa de Malabata

Getting to Playa de Malabata is extremely easy, given its privileged location in the municipality of Tangier. Being integrated into the city, transportation options are varied and accessible. We always recommend exploring the different alternatives to find the one that best suits your needs and budget.

By Car

If you're traveling by car, whether your own or a rental, the beach is very easy to locate. Just follow the Tangier Corniche (Avenue Mohamed VI), which runs along the entire coast. There are several parking areas along this avenue, although they can be quite busy during high season. We advise arriving early to secure a good spot. Most hotels in the area also offer parking.

By Taxi

Taxis are a comfortable and relatively inexpensive way to get around Tangier. There are two types: 'petits taxis' (small, blue) that operate within the city and 'grands taxis' (large, white or beige) for longer trips or outside the city. From any point in Tangier, a 'petit taxi' will drop you off at Playa de Malabata in a few minutes. Make sure to agree on the price before starting the trip or that the taximeter is running.

By City Bus

The Tangier city bus network is quite efficient and economical. Several lines run along the Corniche, with stops very close to the beach. It's an excellent option if you're looking for a more local and economical alternative. You can ask at your accommodation or locals about the lines that pass through Avenue Mohamed VI.

On Foot

If your accommodation is near the Corniche or in the city center, a pleasant walk may be the best way to get there. You'll enjoy the maritime atmosphere, the views, and the sea breeze while heading to the beach. It's an experience we highly value!
