If you prefer public transport, there are buses connecting Salé with areas near the beach, although they may require a short final walk. For those coming from further away, Rabat-Salé Airport (RBA) is the closest, about 30-40 minutes by car, and offers connections to several European cities. Once at the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to reach your destination. We always recommend checking public transport routes and schedules in advance to ensure a hassle-free arrival.

This means you will always find a quiet corner to spread your towel and enjoy the peace of the ocean, or a vibrant spot to join in beach games.

The Atlantic waters at this Salé beach are cool and invigorating, with an intense blue color that contrasts wonderfully with the sand. It is important to consider that, being a beach open to the ocean, the surf can be considerable, making it a paradise for surf lovers and other water sports enthusiasts. The water quality is generally good, although it is always advisable to check local reports before swimming. Many of these establishments also offer umbrella and sunbed rentals, allowing you to relax comfortably without having to carry your own equipment.

Furthermore, the beach has equipment rental points for surfing and bodyboarding, which is ideal if you are a beginner wanting to try or an experienced surfer who couldn't bring their own board. Although it does not currently have a confirmed 'Blue Flag', the effort to keep the beach clean and well-maintained is evident, making it a pleasant place to spend the day.

Summer (June to September)

During the summer months, the beach is at its peak. The temperatures are warm and the sun shines brightly, making it ideal for sunbathing and enjoying long swims. However, it is also the high season, which means the beach will be more crowded, especially on weekends. If you are looking for atmosphere, energy, and the opportunity to socialize, summer is your time. The chiringuitos are operating at full capacity.
