For us, the best option for exploring the island and getting to Vagia is to rent a vehicle, either a car or a motorbike, directly in Livadi.

Don't worry, the journey is perfectly passable and the views of the Aegean Sea that open up at every turn are simply spectacular. We recommend driving with caution, especially on the unpaved sections. There is also the possibility of taking a taxi from Livadi, although it can be a bit more expensive. However, the freedom that having your own transport offers to explore not only Vagia but also other Serifos beaches and the island's charming villages is invaluable.
