Livadi is the nerve center of Serifos, where ferries arrive and where most tourist services are concentrated. To get to Agios Sostis, we have several transport options:

• Rental car: It is, without a doubt, the most comfortable and flexible option. It allows us to explore the island at our own pace and bring everything needed for a day at the beach. From Livadi, we will take the main road heading north, towards Chora (the island's capital). After a few kilometers, we will find signs for Agios Sostis. The paved road becomes a dirt track in the final stretches, but it is generally passable for normal cars, although we recommend driving with caution due to potholes and dust.
• Motorcycle or scooter: A very popular option in the Greek islands. Motorcycles offer great freedom to navigate narrow paths and are perfect for feeling the Aegean breeze. They are ideal for the final dirt track, as their agility allows for better maneuvering over the uneven terrain. Of course, always with a helmet and due caution, especially on blind curves.
• Quad: For those seeking a more adventurous experience and greater stability on dirt roads, a quad is an excellent choice. It allows you to carry luggage and tackle the track with more confidence. It is a robust option for the less-traveled roads of Serifos.
• Bus: The public bus service on Serifos is limited and does not go directly to all beaches. Although there are routes connecting Livadi with Chora and some other towns, it is unlikely there is a direct stop for Agios Sostis. If we choose the bus, we would probably have to get off on the main road and walk a considerable stretch along the dirt track, which is not the most advisable under the Greek sun, especially if we are carrying beach gear.
• Taxi: A more expensive option, but very comfortable if we prefer not to drive. We can arrange a taxi from Livadi to take us directly to the beach. It is advisable to agree on a price beforehand and, if possible, organize the return pickup, as there is no taxi stand at the beach itself.

The Final Stretch: The Dirt Track

Once we leave the main road, we will enter a dirt track that winds through the arid, rocky landscape of Serifos. This stretch, although a bit rough, is relatively short. It is important to drive slowly and pay attention to signs or small markers indicating the direction to the beach. At the end of the track, we will find an area where we can park informally, just before descending to the sand. Do not expect an organized parking lot; it is simply an open space next to the path where cars and motorcycles are distributed. From there, a short path will lead us directly to the beach and the spectacular view of the church.

We always recommend bringing a map or using GPS, although the signs on Serifos are quite clear once you know the general direction. The important thing is to enjoy the journey, the changing landscapes, and the anticipation of arriving at one of the most beautiful places on the island. And, of course, do not forget to bring water, as there are no shops or 'chiringuitos' in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
