By Car or Motorcycle

The most comfortable and flexible way to get to Playa de Mykali is by renting a car or motorcycle. From the island's capital, Vathy (also known as Samos Town), the journey is approximately 10 kilometers southeast and takes about 15-20 minutes. If you are coming from the picturesque village of Pythagoreio, the trip is even shorter, about 6-7 kilometers, and will take you just 10 minutes. The road is in good condition and well-signposted, making the drive pleasant and scenic.

• From Vathy: Follow the coastal road south, passing Gagou Beach and continuing towards Pythagoreio, but turning off before towards the east coast.

By Public Bus
