How to Get to Love Bay Beach

For those who prefer comfort and speed, a taxi is an excellent option. There are taxi stands at the port of Poros, and the journey to Love Bay is short, lasting just 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. It's a good alternative if we are traveling with young children or if we simply want to get there without complications.

Another very popular option that we highly recommend is renting a motorcycle or scooter. The island of Poros is perfect for exploring on two wheels, and the journey to Love Bay is especially pleasant, offering panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. There are several rental shops in Poros town, and prices are usually reasonable. With a bike, we have the freedom to stop wherever we want to take photos or simply enjoy the scenery.

We can also opt for the local bus. The bus line that goes to the Zoodochos Pigi Monastery passes near Love Bay. Although the stop is not right on the beach, it leaves us with a short and pleasant walk of about 5-10 minutes. It is the most economical option and allows us to mingle with the locals, experiencing a bit more of the island's daily life.

Finally, for hiking lovers and those who wish to enjoy a scenic walk, it is possible to reach it on foot from Poros town. It is a walk of approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on our pace, but the views along the way are spectacular and allow us to appreciate the island's natural beauty. However, in the summer months, the heat can be intense, so it is advisable to bring water and sunscreen if we choose this option. Whatever method we choose, the reward upon arriving at Love Bay Beach is, without a doubt, a paradise that is well worth the trip.
