There is no need for additional transport; the beauty of Mandraki is just a step away from the town's life, which enhances its family-friendly and accessible character.

The `seabed_type` is, therefore, a `mixed` composition of pebbles and sand, very comfortable for walking and lying down, especially if we use a towel or a mat.

They are, without exaggeration, of a transparency that borders on perfection, inviting us to immerse ourselves in a turquoise blue that blends into sapphire as we move away from the shore. The clarity allows us to easily observe the seabed, full of small fish swimming carefree, making snorkeling a simple and rewarding activity even for the less experienced. It is not a crowded beach with large tourist infrastructures, but rather maintains a perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. We will find the possibility to rent Sunbeds and umbrellas, which is ideal for protecting ourselves from the Mediterranean sun and enjoying a day of total relaxation. This allows us to arrive without carrying our own equipment and simply settle in to enjoy the scenery.

Furthermore, the proximity to the town of Kastellorizo means we have access to several Chiringuitos and traditional tavernas right next to the beach or a very short distance away. These establishments are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, a midday refreshment, or a delicious Greek meal with sea views. The hospitality of the local owners is always a plus, making us feel at home. They also usually have Showers available so we can rinse off the salt after a refreshing swim, a small detail that is always appreciated. Although Parking is limited, given the pedestrian nature of the town and the beach's closeness to the center, we will always find some space in the vicinity of the harbor, if we have opted to rent a vehicle, which is uncommon on this island. The absence of a permanent Lifeguard service is something to consider, although the calmness of the waters considerably reduces the risks. In summary, Mandraki offers us the essentials for a relaxed and uncomplicated beach day, maintaining that atmosphere of authenticity we so value.
