How to Get to Playa de Kalotaritissa

The journey from Chora will take us approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on the pace and the stops we make to admire the landscape. It's an excellent opportunity to see the more rural and authentic Amorgos, away from the busier tourist centers.

We have enjoyed its fresh fish dishes, Greek salads, and local specialties, all prepared with top-quality ingredients. The tavern also usually offers umbrellas and sunbeds for rent, which is very convenient if we don't bring our own, allowing us to enjoy shade and comfort on the sand.

Other Services

As mentioned, there is an informal and free parking area for cars and motorbikes. However, we won't find formal showers or public toilets on the beach, which is common in many more natural Amorgos beaches. There is also no lifeguard service, so it's important to be aware and responsible, especially if we're with children.
