How to Get to Playa de Venecia

Getting to Playa de Venecia is quite straightforward, given its strategic location within the municipality of Gandia. We always recommend planning the trip a little so that the arrival is as pleasant as the stay. Here are the best options in detail:

By Car

If you're coming by car, Playa de Venecia is easily accessible from the N-332 or the AP-7 (exit 60 for Gandia). Once in Gandia, follow the signs to Grau de Gandia or the port. The beach is located north of the port, just before the mouth of the Serpis River. There is parking available, both public parking areas and some designated spots on nearby streets, although in high season it can be a bit more challenging to find a spot right on the front line. We usually look a bit further back and take a short walk.

By Public Transport

• Train: The Gandia train station (Cercanías C-1) connects the city directly with Valencia. Once at Gandia station, you can take an urban bus that will take you to Grau de Gandia and, consequently, to Playa de Venecia. It's a comfortable and economical option if you don't want to worry about parking.
• Urban Bus: The Gandia urban bus network (known as La Marina Gandiense) has lines connecting the center of Gandia and the train station with the beach area and the port. Check the schedules and stops, as there are several that will leave you just a few minutes' walk from the shore.

However, it's also when the beach is most crowded, and finding parking or a quiet spot can be a challenge. For us, the summer energy is contagious, but you have to go with the mindset of sharing the space.

Spring and Early Autumn (May, June, September, early October)

These months are, for us, the golden time to visit Playa de Venecia. The weather is still fantastic, with pleasant temperatures inviting for swimming and sunbathing. The great advantage is that the influx of people is much lower. You can enjoy the beach with enviable tranquility, accommodation prices are usually more affordable, and services continue to operate at a good pace. It's the ideal time for relaxation and for those who prefer peace to crowds. We always recommend these months for a more authentic and serene experience.

Winter (November to April)

During the winter months, the beach transforms into a place of different beauty. Swimming is not the priority, but long walks along the shore become a delight. The air is clean, the winter sun is gentle, and the beach shows itself in its most wild and natural state. It's perfect for disconnecting, for meditation, or for enjoying landscape photography.
