How to Get to Playa de Cala Moros

Getting to Playa de Cala Moros is relatively straightforward, although, as a proper cove, it requires following some directions to not miss its charm. If we're coming from L'Perelló, which is a few kilometers to the north, or from L'Ampolla to the south, the most common route is to take the N-340 highway or the AP-7 and then turn off towards the coast. It's advisable to look for signs towards the beaches of L'Perelló, and once in the coastal area, follow the specific signs to Cala Moros. It's not a complex access, but as it's a cove, we shouldn't expect large access avenues.

We always recommend using a GPS for greater convenience, entering 'Playa de Cala Moros, L'Perelló'. In the vicinity of the cove, we generally find designated parking areas. Although it's not always a huge, beachfront parking lot, there's usually enough space to leave the vehicle a short distance away, which makes accessing the beach with our things easier. From the parking area, a short walk is common, which already prepares us for the beauty of the landscape awaiting us. It's an access that, while not fully accessible for people with very reduced mobility, allows most visitors to arrive without major difficulties. The sea breeze and the scent of pine already welcome us in those last few meters.

Although they are not large complexes, these small establishments offer us the possibility of having a refreshment, an ice cream, or even tasting a simple snack or dish by the sea. Choosing the best time to visit Playa de Cala Moros depends a lot on the type of experience we're looking for. If what we long for is tranquility, peace, and enjoying the cove in its most serene state, we highly recommend the spring months (April, May) and early autumn (September, October). During these times, the climate on the Costa Dorada remains very pleasant, with mild temperatures and many hours of sunshine, perfect for walking, taking
