How to Get to Playa de Saiáns

Getting to Playa de Saiáns is relatively easy, given its proximity to Vigo. We always recommend planning the route a little, although the directions are clear. If you're coming from the center of Vigo, the most direct way is to take the coastal road PO-325 towards Baiona. The beach is about 10-12 kilometers from the city center, a journey that, depending on traffic, usually takes between 15 and 25 minutes.

By Car

The car is, without a doubt, the most comfortable option for most. The PO-325 offers a scenic route along the coast, passing by other beaches and coves. You'll find clear signage for Playa de Saiáns. Once there, it has parking nearby, although in high season it can fill up quickly, so we advise you to arrive early to secure your spot. There are regulated parking zones and free ones on the surrounding streets.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer not to drive, public transport is an excellent alternative. The Vitrasa urban bus lines connect Vigo with the Saiáns area. You can check the specific lines (such as L10 or L11) that have stops near the beach. It's an ecological and comfortable option, especially if you don't want to worry about parking.

Best Time to Visit

If you ask us what is the best time to visit Playa de Saiáns, our answer is clear: the summer months. From June to September is when the climate in Galicia is most favorable, with sunny days and pleasant temperatures that invite swimming and enjoying the beach to the fullest. It's true that in July and August the number of people is higher, but the atmosphere is vibrant and the beach is at its peak in terms of services.

However, don't rule out visiting in spring or autumn. Although swimming may be only for the bravest, these months offer a particular charm. The beach is quieter, ideal for taking long walks, enjoying the sea breeze, and the peace transmitted by the Atlantic. The sunsets during these seasons are spectacular and the light is perfect for photography.
