By Car

If we choose the car, the beach is located in the parish of Alcabre, in the western area of Vigo. We can follow Avenida de Samil and take the signposted exits towards Fontaíña. There is limited parking nearby, which can be a challenge on days with high visitor numbers. Our suggestion is to arrive early if we want to secure a spot, especially during the summer months. From the center of Vigo, the journey usually takes about 10-15 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

By Public Transport

The Vigo urban bus network (Vitrasa) offers lines that bring us close to the Alcabre area and Fontaíña itself. The lines with stops closest to the beach are an excellent option, as they leave us just a few meters from the sand.
