How to Get to Playa de Arroyo Vaquero

If you're coming from Estepona town center, you should take the A-7 motorway towards Algeciras. The beach is located a few kilometers west of the urban center of Estepona, just before reaching the Bahía Dorada urbanization or the Casares Costa area. Generally, there is a signposted exit leading to the Arroyo Vaquero area or one of the nearby urbanizations.

Once you take the motorway exit, you'll find signs or paths that will lead you directly to the beach. We mention that the parking is not as extensive or organized as at other more crowded beaches, but there is usually enough space to park along the paths adjacent to the beach or in small improvised clearings. Our recommendation is to arrive early, especially during the summer months, to secure a good spot. Accessibility is good, and the walk from the car to the shore is short and comfortable, which makes transporting beach gear and, of course, arriving with your pets easier.

The Sand and Water
