How to Get to Playa de l'Estartit

Getting to Playa de l'Estartit is relatively easy, and the transportation options are varied, which facilitates access from different starting points. By Car

The most comfortable option for many is the car. From Barcelona, you can take the AP-7 motorway towards Girona/France and then take exit 6 (Girona Nord) to take the C-66 and, subsequently, the C-31 towards Palafrugell/La Bisbal d'Empordà, following the signs to l'Estartit. From Girona, the journey is even shorter, taking the C-66 directly and then the C-31. The Torroella de Montgrí beach has several parking areas, some paid and others free, especially near the port and along the promenade, although they can fill up quickly in summer.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, the nearest train station is Flaçà, about 25 kilometers from l'Estartit. From there, there are buses that connect directly to the town. There are also regular bus lines linking l'Estartit with Girona and other important towns on the Costa Brava, making it an ecological and practical alternative to reach this fantastic Playa de l'Estartit.
