How to get to Playa de Heliópolis

By car

If you're coming by car, the AP-7 motorway and the N-340 are the main access roads to Benicàssim. Once in the town, Playa de Heliópolis is very easy to locate, as it runs parallel to the promenade. You'll find parking areas on the adjacent streets and in nearby urbanisations, although during high season it can be a bit more difficult to park right by the beach. We always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot.

By train

Benicàssim has a train station, making it a very convenient option if you prefer not to drive. From the station, you can take a taxi or a local bus that will drop you off very close to Playa de Heliópolis.

By bus

There are intercity bus lines connecting Benicàssim with Castellón de la Plana and other nearby towns. Furthermore, within Benicàssim, there are urban bus services that run along the promenade and have strategic stops right by the beach.

By plane

For those coming from further away, the nearest airports are:

• Castellón Airport (CDT): About 30-40 minutes by car. It offers national and international flights, though with less frequency than other airports.
• Valencia Airport (VLC): Approximately one hour away. It's an airport with a greater offer of flights and connections, making it a very popular option for reaching the Costa de Azahar.
