How to get to Playa de Regla

Getting to Playa de Regla in Chipiona is relatively easy, and the options vary to suit every traveler. We always recommend planning ahead, especially if you plan to visit during high season, when Chipiona fills with life and joy.

By car

If we come from Cádiz or Jerez de la Frontera, the main access is via the A-480 road, which takes us directly to Chipiona. From Seville, the most common route is to take the AP-4 towards Cádiz and then turn off onto the A-480. The beach is very well signposted once we enter the municipality. It's important to know that, although there are parking areas, finding a spot can be a challenge in July and August. There are paid parking lots near the beach, which can be a good option to avoid headaches and enjoy from the first moment.

By bus

Chipiona has a bus station that connects the town with the main cities of the province of Cádiz, such as Jerez, Cádiz capital and El Puerto de Santa María, as well as with Seville. Several companies offer regular routes, making the bus a comfortable and economical alternative, especially if we don't want to worry about parking. From the station, the beach is within walking distance or a short local taxi ride away.

By train and plane

The nearest train station is in Jerez de la Frontera, about 30-40 minutes away by car. From there, we can take a bus or taxi to get to Chipiona. If we're coming from further away, the nearest airport is Jerez Airport (XRY), which offers national and international flights. Once at the airport, we can rent a car, take a taxi, or use the bus services that connect to Chipiona. The combination of these transport options allows for a smooth and hassle-free arrival at our coastal destination.
