How to Get to Playa de Arapya

Getting to Playa de Arapya is relatively straightforward, making it an accessible destination for all types of travelers. If we fly, the nearest international airport is Burgas (BOJ), which receives flights from various European cities, especially during the summer season. From the airport, we have several options to reach our coastal destination.

From Burgas Airport

• Rental Car: This is undoubtedly the option that gives us the most freedom and flexibility. The journey from Burgas to Arapya is approximately 70-80 kilometers, which translates to a trip of just over an hour on well-signposted roads. Renting a car allows us to explore the surroundings at our own pace and discover nearby coves and villages.
• Taxi or Private Transfer: For those who prefer the comfort of not driving, taxis and private transfer services are available at the airport. It's advisable to negotiate the price in advance or book a transfer beforehand to avoid surprises.
• Bus: There is a bus network connecting Burgas with Tsarevo. From Tsarevo, which is a few kilometers from Arapya, we can take a local taxi or, if the accommodation is nearby, even walk. However, this option requires more transfers and can be less comfortable if we're traveling with a lot of luggage.

From Other Nearby Cities

If we are already in the region, for example, in Tsarevo, Arapya is only about 5-7 kilometers to the south. We can easily reach it by car, taxi, or even by bicycle if we are cycling enthusiasts. From towns like Sozopol or Primorsko, there are also bus connections or we can opt for a rental car.

• Parking: Parking areas are available, which is very convenient if we arrive by car, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot.
• Chiringuitos and Beach Bars: Along the beach, several chiringuitos and bars offer us cold drinks, ice cream, snacks, and light meals. They are the perfect place to take shelter from the sun for a while and enjoy a snack with sea views. Here we can try famous Bulgarian beer or a refreshing cocktail.
• Lifeguard Service: Safety is a priority in Arapya. We have lifeguard posts that monitor the beach during swimming hours, providing peace of mind for families and all bathers.
