How to Get to Kalima Beach

Getting to Kalima Beach is relatively easy, and the transportation options are varied, which facilitates access for all types of travelers. We always recommend planning a little to avoid surprises, especially during high season.

By Car

If you come by car, the main access route is the C-32 highway, which runs along the entire Maresme coast. You should take the Caldes d'Estrac exit. Once in the town, follow the signs to the promenade or the beaches. Kalima Beach is located in the center of the beach area. Regarding parking, you will find paid public parking options near the promenade, as well as regulated parking zones (blue zone) on nearby streets. In the middle of summer, it can be a challenge to find a spot, so we advise arriving early or considering other alternatives.

By Train

For us, the train is one of the most comfortable and sustainable options to get to Caldes d'Estrac. The R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya connects Barcelona (from stations like Plaça Catalunya or Sants) with Caldes d'Estrac. The Caldes d'Estrac train station is literally a stone's throw from the beach. When you get off the train, you just have to cross the underpass and you will be on the promenade, with Kalima Beach to your left or right, depending on the direction. It's wonderful not to have to worry about parking and to enjoy the sea views during the journey.

By Bus

There are also interurban bus lines connecting Caldes d'Estrac with other municipalities in Maresme and with Barcelona. The stops are usually located in central points of the town, from where you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. It is a practical option if you are coming from nearby towns.

On Foot or by Bicycle

If you are staying in Caldes d'Estrac or in a neighboring municipality connected by the promenade, such as Sant Vicenç de Montalt or Arenys de Mar, the best way to get there is by walking or cycling. The promenade is flat and offers spectacular views, making the journey part of the experience.
