How to Get to Playa del Puntal

The beach has a large free parking area right next to the sand, which is a great advantage, especially in the summer months. It's true that during high season it can fill up, so we always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. From the parking lot, access to the sand is direct and very comfortable, with wooden walkways that facilitate access for all types of visitors, including those with baby strollers or reduced mobility, although it doesn't have full certified accessibility with all means.

It's also possible to arrive by bicycle from Villaviciosa, via a pleasant route that skirts the estuary. For the more adventurous, you can even walk there, enjoying a stroll that allows you to appreciate the flora and fauna of this important estuary. Whatever your choice, the journey to Playa del Puntal is part of the experience.
