How to Get to Playa de La Marina

Getting to Playa de La Marina is relatively easy, making it an accessible destination for everyone. If you're coming by car, the AP-7 motorway and the N-332 national road are the main access routes. From Alicante city, the journey takes about 30-40 minutes, while from Elche or Santa Pola, the trip is even shorter, just 15-20 minutes. Once in La Marina, you'll find clear signage to the beach and several free parking areas, which is always a relief, especially in the summer months. We recommend arriving early in the high season to secure a good spot.

If you prefer public transport, there are bus lines connecting La Marina with Elche and Santa Pola, making it accessible for those without their own vehicle. It's a comfortable and sustainable option for enjoying a worry-free day at the beach.

You can easily see the bottom, and its temperature is ideal for a refreshing swim during the warm months. The transparency of its waters and the absence of rocks make it an ideal place for swimming and enjoying without worries.

Best Time to Visit

Although Playa de La Marina is a wonderful destination for much of the year, each season offers us a different experience:

• Spring (April-May): For us, it's one of the best times. The temperatures are mild, the sun is already warm but not scorching, and the beach is much less crowded. It's perfect for long walks, enjoying the tranquility, and taking the first dips of the year.
• Summer (June-September): This is the peak season par excellence. The weather is warm and the atmosphere is livelier. If you're looking for the summer bustle, chiringuitos in full swing, and the chance to socialize, this is your time. However, we recommend going early to find a spot and parking.
• Autumn (October-November): If you're looking for peace and contemplation, autumn in La Marina is magical. The sunset colors are spectacular, and the beach regains its wilder, more tranquil essence. You can still enjoy warm days for sunbathing or a walk along the shore.
• Winter (December-March): Although it's not swimming season, the beach remains a beautiful place for a walk, breathing fresh air, and enjoying the calm of the sea. It's ideal for nature lovers and photography.
