• Spring (April - May): We consider spring one of the best times. Temperatures are mild, the sun is warm enough to enjoy the beach, and the crowds are significantly smaller. It's ideal for walking, hiking, and enjoying the cove in a peaceful atmosphere. Access and parking are much easier.
• Early Summer (June): June is a fantastic month. The weather is warm, the water is perfect for swimming, and although there are more people, it hasn't yet reached the overcrowding levels of July and August. It's a good compromise between good weather and relative tranquility.
• Late Summer (September): September is, for many of us, the ideal month. The summer heat begins to subside, but the Mediterranean waters retain a delicious temperature. The crowds reduce considerably after the back-to-school period, and Granadella regains some of its serenity.
• Peak season (July - August): If your only option is to visit in July or August, Playa de la Granadella is still spectacular. However, it is crucial to arrive first thing in the morning (before 9:00 a.m.) to secure parking and a good spot. Otherwise, you risk finding access restricted and the cove crowded.
