Once we arrive at the small and charming village of Stara Baška, we'll find several parking options, although they can fill up quickly during the high season. It's important to note that the main coves are not directly by the roadside but require a short walk or, in some cases, a descent along well-marked paths. For the most famous cove, known simply as the main beach of Stara Baška or often referred to as 'Oprna', the access can be a bit steeper, but the reward upon arrival is indescribable. There are other smaller and more secluded coves that are only accessible by boat or through more challenging trails, ideal for the more adventurous spirits seeking maximum privacy. We always recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, as exploring them is an essential part of the experience.
